Dr. Temkin's research focuses on outcome assessments for a variety of treatments for neurosurgical diseases, particularly traumatic brain injury (TBI). She was the PI on the seminal studies of the value of prophylactic anticonvulsants in TBI management. She has multiple awards from the NIH and DOD.
