I am a first year PhD student in Biostatistics. I studied applied mathematics at Tongji University in Shanghai for my undergraduate studies and obtained my master degree in Biostatistics at Yale University. I worked with Prof. Forrest Crawford at Yale in respondent-driven sampling (RDS) and diffusion on social networks.

I am interested in applying statistical methods to solve real-world problems in public health and sociology. My methodological interests include machine learning, targeted maximum likelihood estimation, causal inference and spatial statistics.

In my free time, I like biking, hiking, reading, and exploring Seattle.
